Notes
In Japan it is known as Akumajo Dracula, which translates to Demon Castle Dracula.

Even though the game is titled as Castlevania IV, it is technically a retelling of the original Castlevania game. It takes place during the same year, and is an expanded version with improved graphics.

The U.S. version censored out some parts of the Japanese version of the game. In Japan, the game's logo drips blood, there is a cross on Dracula's tombstone, and the female statues, as well as Medusa are not covered up all the way. Also the green liquid on Stage 8 in the U.S. version is actually blood on the Japanese game. (thanks to knightmere for the censoring info)
