Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth has been released in the United States on December 28th, 2009 for the Nintendo WiiWare. It costs 1000 Wii Points, or $10.00. Konami waited till December because that marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Castlevania: The Adventure for the Game Boy back in 1989. The Adventure ReBirth is what many predicted, a classic side scrolling game like the original Castlevania titles for the NES, SNES and Game Boy. The game is far superior to the original Castlevania Adventure title. ReBirth includes most of the enemies from the original version, along with some new classic enemies and bosses that were left out before, like the Skeletons and Death. There are a lot of choices on the game's option screen including changing the controller buttons, the difficulty level, and more. You can also increase your total lives up to 9. Screenshots are available, as well as the complete Soundtrack and a short Trailer. Since this is a Wii game it will take a little longer to add images of all the enemies and bosses, as well as maps of each stage, but hopefully I will be able to get those added soon.
