Simon Belmont	It has been 7 years since the events of Castlevania and Simon Belmont discovers that a curse has been placed on him by Count Dracula and that he does not have much longer to live. The only way to save himself is to resurrect Dracula, and defeat him once and for all.
Dracula	Dracula returns with the aid of Simon Belmont in order to be cast away from Transylvania forever while breaking the evil curse that threatens to take Simon's life.
Villagers	Villagers are found in all of the towns. They can offer advice but some may be deceiving.
Priest	The priest can replenish Simon's energy.
Ferryman	Will carry Simon across rivers to 2 different locations.
Merchant	Merchants travel from town to town and sell various items.
Oak Stake Salesman	Located in each Mansion selling Oak Stakes.
Crystal Trader	Simon can trade crystals to him for an upgrade.
Hidden Souls	They appear at secret locations to provide Simon with special items.
