 Shanoa | Shanoa is a young lady chosen by the order's leader, Barlowe, as the human vessel for Dominus. But just before the ritual is performed, the glyphs are stolen by Shanoa's best (and only) friend and fellow Ecclesia member Albus, disrupting the ritual and apparently costing Shanoa her emotions and memories. Upon awakening, Barlowe tells her of his version of the events and orders her to retrieve Albus and Dominus. |
 Albus | Albus is a rogue agent of Ecclesia who possesses the magical gun Agartha and, eventually, the all-powerful glyph Dominus, which is said to have the power to defeat Dracula. |
 Barlowe | Barlowe is the founder of the Order of Ecclesia, one of the many groups dedicated to keeping Dracula at bay in the absence of the Belmont clan. Within Ecclesia lies the remains of Dracula, a nearly indestructible relic that if destroyed, will prevent Dracula's resurrection. Barlowe's research has resulted in Dominus, a weapon powerful enough to perform such a task, and Shanoa is tasked with its use. However, right before Shanoa prepares to do so, Albus, another of Barlowe's disciples, steals Dominus and flees. Barlowe then orders Shanoa to locate Dominus and bring Albus back, if possible. |
 Dracula | The true master of the castle, and the prince of evil. |
 Abram | Once a common thief, he found salvation in the church and studied thenceforth to become a healer. You will find Abram in the lowest right-hand side room in Minera Prison Island. |
 Aeon | A confident chef whose motto is, "I can cook anything!" He moved here to avoid the serious competition of the big city. Return to the Minera Prison Island once you have acquired the Ordinary Rock. With this you'll be able to double jump which will allow you to climb the tower in the middle of the level. At the very top of this tower, you'll find Aeon. |
 Anna | Irina's daughter and Serge's sister. She's a sensitive girl, and endowed with an awareness of the ethereal world. Anna is hidden behind a breakable wall in the Somnus Reef. To the top left of the map you'll find your exit/entrance. To the lower left you'll find one of two Warp Rooms. In between this lower Warp Room and the exit, you'll find a dead end room filled with giant rotating starfish. You may want to bring a Magic Ticket with you so you don't have to backtrack through this death trap. Quickly find your way through the large room of starfish and in the top left, hit the wall to make it crumble to reveal a secret passage. In here you'll discover Anna. |
 Daniela | She appeared in the village one day, as if she had always lived there. Some days she's ignorant, and yet others days she's quite wise. In the Giant's Dwelling, opposite of the left most Save Room you'll find Daniela. |
 Eugen | A quiet, gentle man of 50 years. His good faith brought him to this community, where he used his carpentry skills to build houses. Eugen can be found in the lower right-hand room of the Lighthouse. |
 George | Dracula's legend enticed this minstrel to come along. Townsfolk don't look twice, but avoid this eerie songs. George is to the far left end of the corridor above the boss's level of the Skeleton Cave. |
 Irina | Her children are Serge and Anna. She came to the village by accident, but decided to stay and share her excellent cuisine with the others. You will find Irina in the waterfall area of Tristis Pass. On the ledge just below the red chest on the left, destroy the wall here to reveal a hidden room and Irina. |
 Jacob | This peddler seemed a natural fit, and moved into the village. Jacob can be found imprisoned in the Kalidus Channel. |
 Laura | She places her trust in the cards of the tarot, which foretold she would do great things here, as well as finally locate her soul mate. Laura can be found in the Tymeo Mountains. She is in a room opposite of the far left hand side Warp Room down on level in the same vertical shaft. |
 Marcel | Hearing rumors of monsters nearby, he traveled here to further his research. He's a curious man, and won't hesitate to share information. You will find Marcel in the top right most exit/entrance of the Tymeo Mountains. |
 Monica | This young girl is bright, but shy. The other villagers are like her family, since her real parents passed away. In the Kalidus Channel, you'll find Monica to the lower right of the sunken ship near the end of the level. |
 Nikolai | By the grace of God, he cleared away the wilderness to plant the seeds of this village. You'll find this old man to the right of the Wygol Village entrance. |
 Serge | Irina's son looks after his sister, even though he thinks she's a big crybaby. In Sumnus Reef, you'll find Serge in the top left room near the exit/entrance to the top right. |
